Independence benin 2023 in port-gentil

Celebration of the 63rd anniversary of the accession to national sovereignty of Benin former Dahomey. The Beninese community settled in the city of sand, the economic capital of Gabon, celebrated Benin's Independence Day on August 1 in the Matanda LIP district. A ceremony which began with the raising of colors in the presence of the first authority of the province of Ogooué-Maritime Governor Paul NGOME AYONG, military authorities, the President of the FRIENDSHIP OF NATIONALS OF AFRICAN COMMUNITIES OF OGOOUE -MARITIME, Dia Demba and zone chiefs. The performance of the national anthem of Gabon La Concorde, that of Benin l'Aube Nouvelle and the decoration of KAKPO Albert, President of the Beninese colony, will have been the highlights of this event. It was the Deputy Secretary General of the Beninese colony Bonaventure DOSSOU who delivered the word of welcome.
