Launch of the project my organic school garden

According to data from the General Directorate of Customs, Gabon imports more than 122 million tonnes of animal meat each year. And, despite the efforts made by the highest authorities of the republic to boost the agricultural sector, the country continues to import 1.5 billion foodstuffs each year. That is a colossal note of 824 billion FCFA per year. On the strength of this observation, the NGO LES POTAGERS BIO ECOLIERS DU MONDE has taken the initiative to support the government in this challenge in order to contribute to achieving food self-sufficiency. This is how she initiated the project MON GARDER BIO ECOLIERS, the launch of which was carried out in Port-Gentil, the economic capital of Gabon, at urban public schools 1 and 3, on Thursday April 27, by the Secretary General of the province , Michel Léandre TCHIBINDA, representing the governor of the province of Ogooué-Maritime, Paul NGOME AYONG, prevented, in the presence of the director of the provincial academy, Pierre ONANGA OSSOUNDA.
